SUMMARY:Lost & Found: Searching for Home
DESCRIPTION:Through September 14\, 2026. This exhibition explores the complex relationship between place and belonging through the lens of Asian American\, Native Hawaiian\, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) identity. In this exhibit\, artists unpack attempts to reconnect with their cultural homelands\, through both physical and emotional journeys\, to answer the timeless question: where and what defines “Home”? \nExpressed in a variety of media including painting\, video and installations\, this uniquely AANHPI perspective inspires conversation to both empower and challenge our perceptions of home and highlight the challenges to finding belonging in diaspora. The exhibition features captivating work from a diverse range of artists including including Eric Chan / 陳志宇 / 진지유\, Lauren Iida\, Ravleen Kaur\, and Kyler Pahang.

SUMMARY:Saigon to Seattle
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, May 3\, 2025. Friends of Little Sài Gòn invites community members\, organizations\, institutions\, and advocacy groups to join us in commemorating the stories of Vietnamese refugees in King County and their journey over the past 50 years. \n​​This event series includes the premier screening of the FLS-produced short film Sàigòn to Seattle: 50 Years After the War. \n​The film will have multiple screenings on Saturday\, May 3rd at Hoa Mai Park. This family-friendly event includes music and cultural performances as well as the opportunity to pose for family portraits. These portraits will be featured in an upcoming exhibit at the Little Saigon Creative about individuals and families affected by the Vietnam War. \n​The film features oral histories\, background research about the Vietnam War\, and the history of the Vietnamese community in King County. It also touches on the development of Seattle’s Little Saigon neighborhood. including economic development in Little Saigon and migration waves. A booklet will accompany the film with additional research\, oral histories\, and archival photographs. \n\n​🖼️Free family photography sessions with photographer Minh Carrico at Nisei Veterans Committee’s Memorial Hall from 12pm – 4pm.
