May 30, 31 and June 6, 7, 2025. Produced first at Youth Theatre Northwest (YTN) in 2001, A Story of Sadako is a biographical account of Sadako Sasaki, a 12-year-old girl who contracted leukemia 10 years after the bombing of Hiroshima, and her classmates who honored her legacy by building a monument. In this 2025 remount, the story will unfold in a choral reading style by an ensemble of actors in one-act.
