Thursday, May 1, 2025. Aloha Mai Kakou! Noah Lum and I am a current student at the University of Washington in Seattle. I work with many Pacific Islander students at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture through a research group we call Research Family.
Attached you will find a flyer of our Oceanic STEAM Spotlight event.At this event we will have Research Family students sharing their work and research with the public, student dance performances, Native Hawaiian lei making in the Artist Studio, Pacific Islander scientists connecting and teaching with the Oceania cultural collections, activities for our younger visitors, tabling from community members and organizations, and much more!
